The HighWire 400 Software Developer's Kit (SDK) provides a quick and effective jump start for developers building advanced communications products using SBE's family of HighWire intelligent communications controllers. The HighWire 400 SDK combines a VxWorks BSP with optimized high performance drivers for all major hardware components of the HW400 platform. The familiar VxWorks driver interface paradigm eliminates the time-consuming complexities of chip-level programming. Ready-to-run drivers for the high density layer one edge processor, DS1 framing interfaces, dynamic control of time slot interchanger and H.110 interface allow embedded developers to concentrate on adding value at the protocol and applications layers. Also available is SBE's royalty-free HighWire MTP2 for SDK. It integrates with the SDK to allow onboard embedded code to access a carrier class MTP2 protocol layer using a VxWorks callable API. |
