The wanPMC-1SSI is an industry standard PMC card that provides a high performance wide area network (WAN) connection using a wide range of synchronous serial interfaces. When coupled with a CMC carrier card, the wanPMC-1SSI plugs into a 33 MHz slot in routers, switches or servers with a standard PCI bus. It is also well suited for embedded systems designs. The adapter operates at speeds up to 10 Mbps and is ideal for T1/ E1 and inverse multiplexor applications. The adapter supports HDLC framing required for Frame Relay and PPP connectivity. The wanPMC-1SSI provides a common interface to a full range of CSU/DSU equipment operating at speeds up to 10 Mbps.
