The HW400p/M DKL Developers Kit for Linux couples the HighWire™ 400p/M modular core processing platform with a TimeSys Linux GPL Software Developers Kit (SDK), to provide a core processing platform that reduces product development time. The HW400p/M core-processing platform combines a standardized PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) site with a full featured 333MHz PowerPC processor core in a PCI form factor board. The TimeSys Linux GPL kernel provides enhancements that allow it to deliver the predictable response times of a RTOS while maintaining the compatibility and ease of development that developers expect from Linux. With standards-based PMC modular I/O and a complete open source Linux distribution, the HW400p/M DKL provides all the tools for rapid prototyping and deployment of embedded systems. |
