SBE's HighWire MTP2 is provided at no cost and royalty free with all
compatible HighWire 400 boards. It is available in two configurations,
for host-based and embedded applications. HighWire MTP2 for Solaris
provides an extremely cost effective lower layer SS7 solution for Solaris
host environments and offers a Solaris-callable API. HighWire MTP2 for
SDK integrates with the HighWire Software Developer's
kit to allow onboard embedded code to access the MTP2 protocol layer
through a VxWorks-callable API. Both HighWire MTP2 implementations support
the ANSI and ITU protocol variants and are upper layer protocol vendor
independent for easy integration with a variety of SS7 protocol stacks. |
